Never been a big fan of the Rap/Metal/Rock genre, it was rubbish and I'm glad it's come and gone...Only one band did it justice, and that was Rage Against the Machine.

My shoot with Hollywood Undead last week had me all nostalgic about the demise or resurrection (fingers crossed that doesn't happen again) of that genre...

I did some digging through my older pics, and found a pile of Limp Bizkit, HED pe and Korn, circa 96 - 97

The first KORN album in 94' was groundbreaking, but seriously, did you care about anything the band put out after that?

HED pe's 1st album was also quite excellent, again everything after that release, who cares.

I remember vividly the moment I got turned on to this band from Cali, fronted by a charismatic, dreadlocked, didgeridoo playing vocalist.

Brandon's vocal acrobatics initially reminded me a lot of Mike Patton, the musicianship, harmonies and songwriting killed me, S.C.I.E.N.C.E is still my favorite Incubus album.

In late 96 early 97' Incubus made a change in the line-up, DJ Lyfe got the axe and Kilmore was called in to pick up duty on the wheels. Once the line-up was sorted out they hit the road in support of the S.C.I.E.N.C.E album.

It was a blast seeing and shooting them so early in there career...it's been ages, I can't wait to shoot them again this summer...
